Boehringer Ingelheim AmeriCares Free Clinic of Danbury Adds Monday Morning Hours
CONTACT: Donna Porstner The Boehringer Ingelheim AmeriCares Free Clinic of Danbury has added Monday morning hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to meet the increased demand for care. The new hours will allow more patients to access the free health care the clinic provides to low-income, uninsured Danbury area residents. Over 1,300 patients rely on the clinic as their primary source of medical care, making it the busiest of the three AmeriCares free clinics. The additional hours enable volunteer doctors and nurses to better meet the increasing numbers of uninsured patients. The clinic is open five days a week.
