Oct 30. 2009 - The Albert W. & Helen C. Meserve Memorial Fund has awarded a $2,500 grant to the Boehringer Ingelheim AmeriCares Free Clinic of Danbury.

The grant will defray operating expenses for the clinic at 76 West St. which serves low-income area residents without health insurance.

The Meserve Memorial Fund was established in 1978 to increase the charitable work of Albert Meserve and his wife, Helen, in the Danbury area. 

AmeriCares Free Clinics provide quality health care to uninsured area residents in a setting where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.  Since 1994, our clinics in Norwalk, Bridgeport and Danbury have provided $27 million in health care services to 18,000 patients.
