AmeriCares Free Clinic of Norwalk Receives $12,500 Grant

Stamford, CT, December 13, 2006 - AmeriCares Free Clinic of Norwalk has received a $12,500 grant from the Adolph & Ruth Schnurmacher Foundation.  These funds will be used to support the costs associated with increased patient capacity at the Norwalk Clinic.

The Adolph & Ruth Schnurmacher Foundation, based in Manhattan, provides grants to a variety of charitable causes in Fairfield County, CT and New York City.

In addition to the Norwalk, AmeriCares Free Clinics has locations in Bridgeport and Danbury.  To learn more, visit the website at www.americaresfreeclinics.org or call 1-800-486-HELP (4357).
