AmeriCares Free Clinic of Danbury Holds Day at the Maze
Danbury, CT, October 11, 2004 - The AmeriCares Free Clinic of Danbury is holding a Day at the Maze on Saturday, October 16, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. to benefit the services provided by the free health clinic. The A-maiz-ing Maze is at Larsen's Farm Market, 401 Federal Road in Brookfield.
"We are delighted to be able to hold a family event as one of our fundraisers in the Danbury area," states Deb Howard, Community Affairs Manager. "There is something for everyone. Adults and children of all ages will be able to enjoy the many activities available at the nine acre maze which has taken on the theme of the "Nascorn" race track." The mini maze is particularly suited to young children.
Tickets, which include admission, free cider and donuts, a hayride and a bag of goodies, can be purchased at the maze. Tickets are $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for children, and free for children under the age of 3. Rain date is on October 17th from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 pm.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the AmeriCares Free Clinic of Danbury, which provides health care services to the uninsured and underinsured in the Greater Danbury area.
