AmeriCares Free Clinics Hosts " Holiday Treasures and Pleasures" Sale

Norwalk, CT, October 22, 2004 -AmeriCares Free Clinics will host their " Holiday Treasures & Pleasures" sale at the Lockwood-Mathews Museum on Saturday, November 6th and Sunday, November 7th to benefit the services provided by the AmeriCares Free Clinic of Norwalk.

 This extravaganza of holiday decorations-at a 50% discount or more- will be provided by Pound Ridge Nurseries of Westchester, NY.

" We are very grateful to Pound Ridge Nurseries for this generous donation. The proceeds will help us to provide needed medications for our patients," states Deb Howard, Community Affairs Manager for AmeriCares Free Clinics.
The sale will feature festive ornaments, twinkle lights, and other decorative baubles to deck the halls at a discount, while benefiting a good cause.  In addition to the holiday decoration sale, volunteers from Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will be hosting their annual "Jumble Sale" to benefit the museum.

The Lockwood-Mathews Museum is located at 295 West Avenue in Norwalk, CT. The sale will be held in the rotunda from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 6th and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 7th.  

All proceeds from this event will benefit the AmeriCares Free Clinic of Norwalk, celebrating their 10th anniversary of providing free primary health care to the uninsured and underinsured in the Norwalk area.
